NOTE: Due to the wide range of boat sizes and types, and relative seaworthiness, it always remains the Skipper’s decision whether to participate or not.
Aim to launch & depart from ramps by 0900 hrs unless otherwise advised. All week long events have a “Plan B” to be Wivenhoe Dam or Atkinson’s Dam. For last minute information contact a Messabout Committee member (see ‘The Log’ for details)

CANCELLED - Logan River Paddle

In view of the the heavy rainfall which has caused rapid river and creek level rises in the Logan and Albert rivers and after consultation with the Messabout Coordinator and the Host, it has been decided to cancel the Logan River Paddle Messabout planned for Saturday 2nd April.
There is also concern with the associated debris that most likely would be carried down the Albert and into the Logan river.
We will try to reschedule this Messabout for later in the year.
Note - the December BBQ meeting will not be held as it has been replaced by the Christmas Party to be held on Sunday 10th December. See separate notes on that date.
